另外ShortCircuit也有問Sony為什麼1吋感光元件只用到12MP
而不是20MP，Sony回答擷取如下:
Sony replied that they did this to create a series of benefits due to having
a larger sensor that gives it larger pixels:
- better capture low light images
- faster shutter speeds,
- lower ISO in low light to reduce noise
- higher dynamic range
- shallower depth of field

p6顏色比較舒服

Sony的解釋很奇怪。把大感光元件裁切部分來用，並不會增加動態範圍、訊躁比等素質。就像是你把同接口的APSC鏡接到FF機上，不會因此就讓照片的品質突然大幅提升。至於景深的說法就更奇怪了：光圈和焦距不變，若要拍出同樣的放大率，更小片幅的對焦距離必須更遠，因此景深只會更深。
