聯盟：延遲比賽規則為確保進攻方利益

近日，聯盟負責裁判工作的副總裁Joe Borgia在官網上解釋了新賽季將引入的關於“故
意延遲比賽”的規則。
“I’ve heard some of the announcers during the preseason saying we’re doing
this to speed the game up and that’s just not true,” Borgia said. “We’re
doing it because the new offensive team is being deprived of the opportunity
to inbound the ball. [The new interpretation] might pick up the pace a little
bit, but it has nothing to with making games go faster. It’s simple, don’t
mess with the ball after a successful basket.
對於這一規則，大多數的人認為，這是為了加快比賽的進程，但是Borgia則表示這不是
他們的目的：“我們這麼做是為了確保進攻方能夠及時地開球，這個規定也許會加快一
點比賽的節奏，但這和縮短比賽的進程沒有關係。這條規則很簡單，得分後不要去碰球
就行了。”
“And it’s like I said, our players are very smart. They will adjust to
these new interpretations. And they will adjust quickly. Officials have to
adjust as well. And they will.”
“就像我之前一直說的那樣，我們的球員都很聰明，他們會適應新的規則，而且他們會
很快地做出調整，裁判們也需要作出調整，他們都會做好的。”
“故意延遲比賽”規則是指，當A隊完成得分後不允許有任何形式的故意觸球 （包括將
球傳給裁判），如果在某場比賽中有違反這一規則的話，第一次違例將會被裁判警告，
之後的每一次違例都將被判罰一次技術犯規。
