There has been some recent chatter that the Cavs might try to sign both James
and impending free agent Luol Deng in the offseason.
They wouldn’t be able to do that unless they dumped some major contracts this
summer.
The Cavs’ best chance to sign Deng would be to sign him to an extension
during the season. However, league sources indicate that Deng might not be
interested in doing that.
