(Michael Cooper: LeBron doesn't make his teammates better)
美國CSN報導，儘管LeBron-James是公認的當今NBA第一人，但是經歷了今年總決賽的失敗
以後，他的表現並沒有能夠贏得湖人隊名宿Michael-Cooper的認可。這位五屆總冠軍認為
，與Michael-Jordan、Larry-Bird以及Magic-Johnson等前輩相比，James還存在一些不足
。
「我認為Michael-Jordan顯然是一名令人驚嘆的球員，但是對我而言，Bird和Magic是那
個時代(上世紀80年代)最好的球員，特別是在籃球運動正處於高速成長期的時代。」
Michael-Cooper在接受CSN的採訪時說道。
上世紀80年代，Cooper曾在效力湖人隊期間一共贏得過5次總冠軍，並且在1987年獲選最

儘管James在這輪系列賽中的數據相當不錯，但是Cooper卻認為這位四屆例行賽MVP並沒有
讓身邊的隊友變得更好。

幫助你贏得總冠軍的人，但是那兩位球員(指Bird和Magic)的關鍵在於他們讓身邊的隊友
變得更好。」Cooper說道，「我不認為LeBron已經達到了那種水準，因為在那兩場比賽(
今年總決賽第3場和第4場)中，他應該讓Chalmers成為一名更好的球員，他也應該讓Bosh
成為一名更好的球員。(LeBron is definitely a good player and he has two
championships under his belt. I think LeBron is the type of person who can
definitely win you a championship, get you there, but the key to those other
two players is they made other players around them better. I don't think
LeBron is at that stage yet because if he was those two games [Games 3 and 4]
he would have made [Mario] Chalmers a better player. He would have made
[Chris] Bosh a better player.)」
