New York Knicks president Phil Jackson announced the hiring of Jim Cleamons,
Rasheed Hazzard and Brian Keefe as assistant coaches, and Joshua Longstaff as
assistant coach of player development on Wednesday.

All four coaches have past connections with Jackson and new Knicks head coach
Derek Fisher. Cleamons and Hazzard both served as assistants under Jackson,
while Fisher knows Keefe and Longstaff from his days playing for the Oklahoma
City Thunder.

Cleamons has more than three decades of coaching experience - including seven

Keefe joined Oklahoma City in 2007 and spent the last five seasons as an
assistant coach. Longstaff is a former high school basketball coach who was a
video analyst for the Thunder for the last four seasons.

Clippers sign Ekpe Udoh
The Los Angeles Clippers have signed free-agent center Ekpe Udoh to a
one-year, $1 million contract, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports.

Udoh, the sixth overall pick in the 2010 draft, brings the Clippers added
frontcourt depth and a defensive mindset. He has averaged 2.6 blocks per 36
minutes over his four-year NBA career.
