Gregg Popovich isn't even going to the Spurs' next preseason game

Two years after the San Antonio Spurs were fined heavily by the league for
sending Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili home early and skipping a
regular season game with the Miami Heat, the Spurs are back at it again.

(torn right rotator cuff) & Tiago Splitter (strained right soleus)

2/2 Will not be playing in Thursday night's game in Phoenix. Also, Tim
Duncan, Manu Ginobili & coach Popovich will not travel with the team.

This is a preseason game, of course, so it’s not the same thing, but it’s
still hilarious. Gregg Popovich, the team’s coach, won’t even be making the
trip to Phoenix. It’s not even that long a trip!
Still, Popovich is not one to waste his own time or that of his players. Let’
s see if the league responds in any way about it.
