Byron Scott: Kobe may be shut-down candidate
Lakers coach Byron Scott said it's premature to discuss shutting down Kobe
Bryant for the season, but he'll revisit the idea after the All-Star break.
Kobe won't play on Sunday and he's expected to sit out one game during L.A.'s
remaining back-to-back sets, leaving fantasy owners with a minefield of
potential DNPs. The prospect of an eventual shut-down is even more ominous,
and Kobe's owners may want to quietly gauge the Black Mamba's trade value
before the 'shut-down' talk gets any louder.
