Point guard Brandon Jennings went down late in the third quarter with what ap
peared to be a lower left leg injury.
With 1:20 left in the third quarter and Bucks leading, 89-65, Jennings was gua
rding former Piston Brandon Knight tightly in the backcourt.
Suddenly, he collapsed to the floor, writhing in pain. TV replays showed Jenni
ngs clutching his lower left leg.
If Jennings misses significant amount of time, back-up point guard D.J. August
in would move into the starting lineup more than likely. Rookie Spencer Dinwid
die would instantly move into a larger role.
The injury comes with Jennings playing possibly the best basketball of his car
eer.
He has fueled the Pistons' 12-3 stretch and many say he is currently playing a
t an All-Star level.
