Sometimes your NBA team leaves town with a future MVP (or possibly two or
three). When that day comes, it's eventually time to pick a new team, and a
16-year-old boy had a great idea on how to make a selection: write all 30 NBA
franchises.

Written entirely by hand, a post on Reddit saw these letters sent to the
teams along with custom drawings.

Unfortunately, only the Timberwolves responded. That's OK, since Minnesota is
a pretty boss team to be a fan of these days.

The team's letter was returned with an autographed basketball (that was
admittedly a few years old) and a letter explaining why the boy should pick
the Timberwolves. Despite misspelling Zach LaVine and Shabazz Muhammad's
names, the letter did make some convincing arguments, including the talents
of Andrew Wiggins, Ricky Rubio, Gorgui Dieng and others.

I'd also submit a few more reasons:
1. Wolves Twitter is abundant and fun at least for the first few hundred
Ricky Rubio Photoshops.
2. Timberwolves is the dopest team name in the NBA.
3. Potential to have the best uniforms in the league.
4. They're more "north" by latitude than the Raptors but they aren't (too)
uppity about it.
5. "Gorgui Dieng" is fun to say. Gorgui. Gooooorgui. GORGOOOEY.
