近日在接受《Grantland》專訪時，Smith談到了自己的出手選擇&外界對他的質疑....
Do you think about your shot selection?
Q：你有想過你的出手選擇嗎？
I just try to take the best shot possible — to not force anything or rush
anything. I play very instinctively within the flow of the game. When you
think too much about what a coach wants, you overthink situations and mess
with how things progress in the game.
Josh Smith表示(以下簡稱JS)：
我只是盡可能出手那種機會最好的投籃，不勉強、不倉促。
我在比賽中就是靠本能打球，當你想太多，去過度思考教練對你的要求，
那你就會搞砸比賽。
Critics say you shoot too many 3s.
Q：批評者說你三分球投太多了....
I don’t understand how a person could tell me how to play a certain way who
has never been in my shoes in life. I can’t tell you how to write a story,
can I? You know what I’m saying? It’s kind of hard to hear.
JS：我無法理解，為什麼一個沒有經歷過我人生的陌生人可以教我如何打球？
我也無法教你如何去寫稿吧？難道我可以嗎？

How do you explain your surprisingly high 3-point percentage in the playoffs
(.380 versus .285 in his career), which is better than Kyle Korver’s this
postseason?
Q：今年季後賽你三分命中率非常高(38%，生涯3P%為28.5%)，
都比老鷹的Kyle Korver還高，對於這事你怎麼看？
I don’t know. Muscle memory, I guess.
JS：我也不知道，我猜大概是身體記住那種感覺了吧。
What’s your ceiling as a player?
Q：你覺得你的天花板在哪裡？
I feel like I have top-10 talent. Most guys will say that, though. [Laughs.]
You definitely have to have confidence in the profession that I’m in.
JS：我覺得我是聯盟中天賦前十的球員，大多數球員都會這麼說。
