Sources: Orlando Magic declining option on Ben Gordon's contract

The Orlando Magic are declining the $4.5 million team option for 2015-'16 on
guard Ben Gordon’s contract, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

權，拒絕執行老將後衛Ben Gordon原本還有一年，價值450萬美金的合約。
Gordon will become an unrestricted free agent.
換句話說，這舉動也等同於讓Gordon在今年暑假再度成為自由球員。
Passing on Gordon’s option will give the Magic $14.5 million in salary cap
space for free agency. Gordon, 32, averaged 6.2 points a game for the Magic
last season.
把Gordon原有的合約作廢，對魔術顯而易見的好處，就是能在今年暑假騰出1450萬美金
的薪資空間，讓球隊有本錢追逐重要的自由球員。另一方面，年齡已達32歲的Gordon，
上一季的場均得分為6.2分，對魔術的貢獻明顯有限。
He signed a two-year, $9 million free agent deal with Orlando last July. In
11 NBA seasons with Chicago, Detroit, Charlotte and Orlando, Gordon has
averaged nearly 15 points per game.
Gordon去年七月才與魔術簽下兩年總價9百萬美金合約。在他累積11年的職籃生涯中，
他加入過的球隊包括公牛、活塞、山貓(黃蜂舊名)與魔術。他生涯場均得分有15分的
水準，可惜近年的進攻能力明顯呈現衰退。
