Celtics pay heartfelt tribute to Paul Pierce
in final appearance in Boston of his career
This is one of my favorite things in sports, the entire ritual of a city
honoring its former star when he’s there for the last time.
In Boston on Sunday, Paul Pierce — now on the Clippers — suited up for his
last NBA game there — he announced last year that this will be his last
season. So he received an emotional send-off from his former team and fans,
many who showed up wearing his jersey.
