“I think Alex Len has potential to be an excellent center,” Watson said. “I
think with Tyson (Chandler) and Alex Len and the way the NBA is going, it’s
very difficult to find minutes with two seven-footers, two traditional centers
.”
“Alex Len can still develop, can still get better,” Watson added. “I though
t he had a solid first half (in New Orleans); he was big blocking shots. His t
ime is going to come. The season, as long as you navigate it, opportunities st
art to develop.”
Trade talk among Suns fans often involves Len’s name. Watson addressed that a
s well.
“As a coaching staff and as a head coach I haven’t won enough games to dicta
te any trade, to have any voice on trades or roster moves,” Watson said. “So
with me, the only thing I can do is focus on getting the guys as many minutes
as possible to develop in situations.”
“Do we want to play Alex Len more? We would love to.”
Alex Len will get his next opportunity Wednesday when the Suns meet therizzl
ies湶n Memphis.

另外是談到關於Len交易的部分，有鑑於他在這個暑假續約的價碼不便宜，也有部分人士
認為Len可以作為交易籌碼，而Watson也給出了明確的回答。
「作為一個總教練，我還沒有贏下足夠的比賽，所以我沒有辦法要求任何交易，在陣容或
交易上也沒有決定權，所以對我來說我能做的就是給予球員更多上場時間以及栽培他們。
」
「我們希望讓Len有更多上場時間嗎?我們當然樂意這麼做。」
Len預計會在下一場面對灰熊的比賽得到更多上場時間。
