Kevin Durant has upgraded from chair shots to set shots in his rehab
OAKLAND — Tuesday was the two-week mark since Kevin Durant’s knee injury.
In two more weeks, the team is expected to know more after an official
re-evaluation.
But minor steps continue to be made day-by-day. After shootaround on Tuesday
morning, Durant was seen lightly dribbling around the court — walking slowly
and a bit gingerly on that left leg but not noticeably limping — while also
putting up some set shots.
“That’s a big step,” Steve Kerr said. “A few days ago, he was shooting
from a chair. Now it’s set shots. Before long, it’ll be jump shots. I don’
t bother him and ask him how he’s doing all the time. I just trust the
training staff to get him healthy and then we’ll welcome him back.”
