文長不全翻，其中主要變動有兩項
1. 退役球員、教練、裁判入選資格由原本的退休5年縮短為退休3年
2. 2020年開始現役教練入選資格改為須要執教25年以上(高中/大學/職業)
並且年滿60歲
2012-13退休將在今年可以入選的球員：Jason Kidd、Grant Hill、Rasheed Wallace
、Richard Hamilton、Marcus Camby等。
2013-14賽季退休可提前入選的球星：Steve Nash、Ray Allen、Chauncey Billups、
Jermaine O’Neal、Derek Fisher、Stephen Jackson、Shane Battier。
2014-15賽季退休可提前入選的球星：Shawn Marion、Kenyon Martin，以及Andrei
Kirilenko。
