Police are investigating a report accusing J.R. Smith of grabbing and throwing
a fan’s cell phone on Sunday morning.
Per the Daily News report, Smith was outside a popular Manhattan nightclub whe
n a fan walked up to him to take a photo with his cell phone. Smith reportedly
snatched the phone and threw it across the street. No arrests have been made.
"This is nonsense and we do not have anything to say about nonsense," Smith’
s lawyer Alex Spiro said.
