Lakers star LeBron James apologizes for 'Jewish money' post on Instagram story

his profile.

On Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers star apologized for a controversial lyric
he shared on his Instagram story from the song "ASMR" by hip-hop artist 21
Savage.
星期天的時候，這位湖人球星為了他在IG的文章，分享了饒舌歌手21 Savage的一首歌
"ASMR"，向大家道歉。
"We been getting that Jewish money, Everything is Kosher," James wrote.
「We been getting that Jewish money, Everything is Kosher，」LBJ寫到。
"Apologies, for sure, if I offended anyone," James told ESPN after the
Lakers' 107-99 loss to the Grizzlies. "That's not why I chose to share that
lyric. I always [post lyrics]. That's what I do. I ride in my car, I listen
to great music, and that was the byproduct of it. So I actually thought it
was a compliment, and obviously it wasn't through the lens of a lot of
people. My apologies. It definitely was not the intent, obviously, to hurt
anybody."

The Action Network's Darren Rovell posted a screen grab of James' story and
questioned the four-time MVP's decision to post the lyrics.

"Surprised LeBron, who makes very few mistakes, put this out. Does quoting
lyrics from a song absolve the person quoting from the responsibility behind
the words? I’d argue no, especially with a following of 45 million."

ESPN reported the NBA has no plans to fine James for the post.
