It’s rough times for the Los Angeles Lakers. Sunday featured what was easily
their worst loss of the season, a 101-95 loss to the league-worst Cleveland
Cavaliers. And what’s more, the Lakers don’t have any help on the horizon.

LeBron James is scheduled to be re-evaluated on Wednesday after the Lakers
play host to the Chicago Bulls and before a two-game road trip to Oklahoma
City and Houston. But even before the Lakers publicly announced Wednesday’s
Jan. 16 re-evaluation date, people close to James have indicated he’s
prepared to sit out even longer.
