Shaquille O’Neal requested trade to Heat from Lakers because of Dwyane Wade

NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal requested a trade from the Los Angeles
Lakers in the summer of 2004 and was shipped to the Miami Heat.
NBA名人堂球星Shaquille O'Neal在2004年的夏天曾要求湖人將自己交易到邁阿密熱火。
O’Neal told the Lakers he wanted to be traded to the Heat because of Dwyane
Wade.
O'Neal當時告訴湖人，他希望被交易到熱火的原因是因為Dwyane Wade。
“I requested that I be traded to Miami and play with a young fella named
Dwyane Wade.”
O'Neal上節目談到了這段往事：

O’Neal and Wade won a championship together in 2006 over the Dallas
Mavericks. It was the first title in Heat franchise history.

Wade was named the Finals MVP. Shaq gave the Chicago native the nickname
Flash.

The Heat traded O’Neal to the Phoenix Suns in 2008, ending his stay in South
Beach. Shaq and Wade, though, accomplished what they had set out to do and
that was to win a championship.
