The Golden State Warriors fell to the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of
135-131 in Game 2 of their first-round Western Conference playoff series on
Monday night, but this was no ordinary postseason loss.

The Warriors blew a 31-point lead, giving up a walloping 85 points in the
second half as they saw the Clippers tie the series up 1-1 at Oracle Arena.

Afterward, Golden State big man Andrew Bogut was not too enthralled, as one
would expect:

“The mood’s (expletive),” said Bogut when asked about the feeling around
the locker room after the loss, according to Ben Golliver of The Washington
Post. “And that’s actually a positive sign in my opinion. It wasn’t
something where we were like, ‘Oh, we’ll get them next time.’ We’re
genuinely pissed off about it.”

Bogut finished with three points and nine rebounds in 17 minutes of action,
and his role may be quite a bit larger for the rest of this series and
potentially the playoffs as a whole, as DeMarcus Cousins left Monday evening’
s game after just four minutes due to what the Warriors later called a “
significant” quad injury.

Looking at the stat sheet, the Warriors looked pretty good offensively. They
shot 53.3 percent from the floor, made 11 3-pointers and went an incredible
40-of-45 from the free-throw line. However, they committed 22 turnovers and
were an abject disaster defensively.
