Westbrook believes the preseason is going to be important so he and his new
teammates can get accustomed to one another.

Russell Westbrook figures to make his teammates better in Houston. When the
former MVP is pushing the ball in the open court, he’s going to collapse the
defense when he gets to the basket, which will free up the Rockets shooters
for wide-open looks from beyond the arc.

Westbrook is one of the fastest players in the NBA. He’s a blur in the open

to be a one-man fastbreak and get easy baskets, something the Rockets need
since they can’t always rely on James Harden or their half-court offense.
