his rare combination of athleticism, strong frame, footwork, and basketball
IQ, some argue he could’ve ended up being the greatest player of all time.

as he just admitted that he let some players shoot on purpose just because he
‘loved their game’.

Needless to say, we’re talking about some of the league’s finest
entertainers ever, so it’s hard not to feel the same way Shaq did about
their game. Still, it tells you a lot about how great he could’ve been if he
could’ve kept that competitive intensity throughout his entire career.

Obviously, we don’t know for sure whether Shaq was as lazy as Kobe said or
if he was just trying to make a point.

What we do know is that Shaq is one of the most special physical specimens to
ever set foot on an NBA hardwood. Also, history will certainly appreciate his
eye for other players’ greatness, but we know he could’ve been even better.
