The Warriors were trailing by 50, though, to that point — flirting with an all-
time bad loss in the playoffs. To Green, he wanted to match the energy that fans
in Memphis provided as the Warriors clearly didn't do that on the floor with th
eir play.

"They're not going to whoop that trick alone," Green said. "We're going to whoop

it. Embrace it. I appreciated the crowd tonight, the energy they brought to the
game. If they want to whoop that trick, we're going to whoop them together."
