Barkley spoke to reporters Wednesday to promote next month’s American
Century Championship, the annual celebrity golf tournament near Lake Tahoe.
At one point, Barkley was asked how he would have responded to Green’s
animated chatter if they played against each other in a game.

“You just have to clock him one time, with a good shot,” Barkley said. “
Draymond reminds me of Dennis Rodman. Anytime I’d play against Rodman, I’d
hit him as hard as I could early in the game, and he would stop all of those
antics. I’d do the same thing against Draymond.”

Barkley also offered some pointed thoughts about Green’s performance Sunday,
when he led the Golden State Warriors past Boston to even the NBA Finals at
1-1 entering Game 3 on Wednesday night. Green, of course, avoided ejection
when referee Zach Zarba did not call any technical fouls after a
second-quarter skirmish with Boston forward Jaylen Brown (Green had been
called for an earlier technical).

Then, after the game, Green said during an ESPN “SportsCenter” interview
that he wasn’t worried about getting ejected because he’s “earned
differential treatment.” That caught Barkley’s attention.
爭議點在於在賽後接受世界體育中心的訪談時，嘴綠說他不擔心會被驅除出場。
因為他早已「贏得了不一樣的對待」。這件事引起了老巴的注意。
“I think that was a huge mistake,” Barkley said. “I have some friends who
are retired officials, and they were pissed. They were texting me during the
game, saying ‘What the hell is up (with Green)? Why don’t they just toss
this dude? He can’t be out there acting like a damn fool.’

technical.’ … I really think Draymond has to be very careful.”

Barkley, a Hall of Fame forward, acknowledged there are unwritten rules
giving big-name players such as Green (and Barkley in his playing days) more
leeway before drawing technical fouls. That’s especially true in the NBA
Finals.
老巴也承認不成文規定下，像嘴綠這種享譽盛名的球員（也包括還在打球的他自己），

Barkley stuck to his earlier prediction of the Celtics winning the Finals in
six games. He didn’t seem to think they could win again in San Francisco,
suggesting they need to run the table at home in Boston (Games 3, 4 and 6).
