Before the Warriors won the 2021-22 NBA title against the Boston Celtics, Smith
expressed his belief that Curry would be in the conversation for Top 10 all-time
with a fourth ring. However that meant Smith had to take off one name among tho
se considered to be the greatest players of all time.

ychal Thompson was clearly disappointed that Wilt Chamberlain was disrespected a
nd slandered like that. Klay Thompson’s dad, who grew up watching Chamberlain,
emphasized that the NBA icon should always be an automatic lock in the Top 4 of
any all-time list for best players in league history.
