No Timeline For Ben Simmons To Return

Ben Simmons has been out due to a sore left knee since the Brooklyn Nets
returned from the All-Star break. Net coach Jacque Vaughn said on Tuesday
that there is no timeline for when Simmons may return. Vaughn also said that
Brooklyn has had no discussions about shutting Simmons down for the season.
“No, that’s a zero on that one. Go zero. Think I went zero last time, going
zero again, no discussion,” Vaughn said.
Simmons has appeared in 42 games this season after missing the entirety of
last season. It's been a down year for the versatile 6-foot-10 player, as
Simmons has averaged just 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists. All are
career-lows for Simmons in his seventh NBA season.
