首先就說結論： 公關太差了
這不是我先說的，但我覺得很貼切
這是著名媒體人也當過灰熊制服組的 John Hollinger 專欄裡有提到交易爭議時

回想當初被爆料拓荒者給GP2注射止痛藥，被一堆人大罵獸醫球團沒良心
縱然拓荒者官方GM和球員經紀人都隨即否認，然後媒體就更正說不是注射室是口服藥
重點是其實球團就表示不會強迫球員帶傷上場，但傷害已經造成，不信的依舊不信
就如同交易體檢時的新聞，up to 3 months，中文上看三個月
後面補一條一個月後再評估，時間後來等等等
後來的其實不重要，因為媒體和許多球迷注意力只會看到三個月

新聞標題看看怎麼下的，所以接受到訊息的球迷既定印象又建立了
台灣的媒體如是，我身邊的朋友如是
再之後勇士球團再向聯盟申請調查拓荒者
宣稱拓荒者蓄意隱瞞GP2的傷勢進行交易
甚至拉出去年跟拓荒者鵜鶘的交易案請一併調查
奇怪的是聯盟的調查結果還沒出爐，真相尚未水落石出
就有許多球迷認定肇責的歸屬是拓謊者
所以我想說並關注的是，這就是 公關 的力量啊
更可惜的是，我們大概等不到所謂的真相調查結果了

話說，火靈哥的文章其實還有提到
The core issue here (sorry) is the NBA’s requirement on medical disclosures
in trades and whether Portland followed the rules. In trades, teams are
required to disclose any injuries a player may have or had. They are not,
technically, required to disclose how those injuries have been treated; as a
result, I’m not sure any complaints about Toradol pills will get much
traction. At the time of the trade, teams are given access to the other team’
s electronic medical records for a given player (everything is online now, or
is supposed to be); if the Blazers failed to note a legitimate injury in
here, that would be a more glaring issue, and the league could penalize them.
