A spokesperson from the Sheriff County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to The
Commercial Appeal that they checked in on Ja Morant after his IG posts this
morning, and “he is fine.”

"Shelby County Sheriff’s Office deputies checked on Ja Morant at his
residence this morning and he is fine," the spokesperson said. "He advised us
that he is taking a break from social media."
