Jahlil Okafor’s European move becomes official
Former No. 3 pick Jahlil Okafor signed in Spain with ACB side Casademont
Zaragoza, the club announced. He signed a one-year deal to make his debut on
European ground and compete in what is widely considered the best domestic
league outside the NBA.
Since he was selected third overall in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia
76ers, Okafor spent six seasons in the NBA, averaging 10.4 points and 4.7
rebounds over 247 appearances. He had standout numbers of 17.5 points and 7.0
rebounds in his first year, being named to the All-NBA Rookie Team.
