The NBA, NFL, and UFC are looking to rewrite DMCA laws to allow for illegal
livestreams to be shut down “instantaneously or near-instantaneously”,
according to a letter sent to US Patent and Trademark Office. The letter
alleges that the sports industry loses up to $28 billion in potential annual
revenue due to illegal streams
