Memphis will now enter the regular season without Ja Morant (suspension), Bran
don Clarke (injury rehab) and Steven Adams (injury).
The Grizzlies have 15 players on guaranteed contracts.
Here are their options:
1. They can file a Disabled Player Exception request to the NBA for Adams. The
DPE is valued at $6.3M (50% of the Adams salary) if granted. Memphis would ne
ed to have an open roster spot.
2. Starting on 11/2 Memphis can move Morant to the suspended list and sign a r
eplacement player.
3. Memphis also has the $12.4M non-tax midlevel, $7.5M trade and $4.5M biannua
l exception.
4. The Grizzlies are $17.1M below the luxury tax.

灰熊現在的名單已經達15人，雖然有機會透過傷病特例得到一個6.3M的TPE，我們原本也
有一個暑假Dillon Brooks簽換的7.5M交易特例，甚至連全額中產都還留著沒有用——但
是沒有格子可以簽人。
當然因為Ja禁賽的關係可以在他的禁賽期間內簽一個人來應急，但25場之後就結束了。
也因此，當初在三月多直接把Kenneth Lofton從雙向轉正成四年約（雖然有非保障一年）
的操作就顯得有點愚蠢……

現在灰熊的操作方向有兩個
1.維持現狀先試試看：讓Tillman上先發，替補讓Aldama扛或是直接JJJ頂C。都不是長期
選擇，但已經是現在最正常的選擇了。只能期待Clarke快點傷癒復出了
2.清出空格簽人
先不論要清誰（如果裁掉小胖又好智障，不過我們離稅線還有17M沒差就是了）如果真的
裁掉人，自由市場上還有Biyonbo/Dedmon/Noel等中鋒
3.交易
如果要走這條路，Brandon Clarke估計是最有可能出的籌碼了（12.5M）可能搭個籤，有
專欄作家提到了一些可能交易名單：Robert Williams/Kelly Olynyk/Daniel Theis
