When Nike dropped an Olympic commercial before the Games, people noticed
someone missing.
LeBron was on it. Giannis made it. Victor Wembanyama, the newcomer, had his
own segment as well.
Kevin Durant was left off.
People, including KD himself, questioned it.
“@Nike, am I a bad person?????” he typed on his Instagram story.
Not that he needed more motivation but that might’ve done something.
After missing all the tune-up games for the Olympic build up for Team USA,
Durant was available for their opener against Serbia
Let’s just say, he did his thing. Didn’t miss a beat…and a shot, pretty
much.
This set the tone for KD and Team USA as they are now headed to the
semifinals to face Serbia once more.
