前些日子，噴射機的EDGE Carl Lawson接受訪問時講了一個很重要的東西
"You can't judge somebody based off of sacks as far as how productive they
are, but if you want to get to that elite status, where you're considered
an elite defender, then you need to convert those pressures into sacks, if
you get what I'm saying"
大意是說別根據擒殺來評斷一個人的產出，可是你如果想成為頂尖的防守者，你需要
把那些pressures轉換成擒殺。
噴射機因在FA以3年4500萬的合約簽下整季只有5.5次擒殺的Carl Lawson，而讓部分
球迷不解。
雖然Lawson帳面上只有5.5次擒殺，可是根據PFF的進階數據，他去年撲倒四分衛24次
、施壓QB高達64次，擊敗blocker的比例也有20%，這三項數據都在EDGE前五。
