─ What is the MUN? ─ 　
Model United Nations (MUN), is a dynamic activity which consists of diplomatic
training, debating, and global vision. During a MUN, participants role-play
different country delegations, stimulating the very situation of a conference
in an international scale, and by discussing important current world issues,
we not only get knowledge of international relations, form worldwide vision,
but also establish long lasting friendships with brilliant people who shares
the same passion about the welfare of mankind.
模擬聯合國會議（模聯），是一個學習折衝尊俎的活動，以外交能力訓練、辯論和全球視
野為核心內容。在模聯會議中，參與者角色扮演著各國的外交官，模擬國際級規模的會議
場面，藉由討論當今最重要的各種國際議題，以獲得對國際關係的最新知識、開闊世界
觀，並與關心世界局勢、人類福祉的同好建立美好的友誼。

─ Why MOTAI MUN? ─
NCKU TainanMUN has come to its third year since it was founded in 2008, it
features being the only formal Model United Nations conference held in the
southern part of Taiwan. Hosted in cooperation by Department of Foreign Affair
of NCKU Student Union and NCKU MUN Club, the TainanMUN has a goal to stimulate
the willingness and ability of NCKU students to participate in discussions
about international issues, at the meantime promote MUN activity within the
southern part of Taiwan.
Thanks to the enthusiastic participants of TainanMUN last year, we not only
accomplished a successful event, but also greatly popularized TainanMUN.
In this year, we intend to expand the scale of TainanMUN by cooperating with
the MUN Association of University of Macau, rolling out the MOTAI Model United
Nations 2011, Macau & Tainan, inviting students from across the Strait,
hopefully to inspire different ideas by joining brilliant students from
different backgrounds, while establishing long lasting friendships with people
who also has the same passion in MUN activities.
府城模擬聯合國會議已邁入第三屆，是台灣南部地區唯一大型的模擬聯合國會議。成大學
生會外務部與模擬聯合國社希望藉由此活動的舉辦，提升成大學生及其他參與者討論國際
議題的能力，同時增進南部地區參與模擬聯合國會議的風氣。
感謝去年所有參賽者的踴躍參與，除了一起營造出一場成功的會議，也讓更多人知道「府
城模聯」。
今年，我們特別擴大規模，與澳門大學學生會模擬聯合國協會合作，共同舉辦「2011澳門-
府城模擬聯合國會議」“MOTAI Model United Nations 2011, Macau & Tainan”，並邀請
兩岸四地的大學生共同參與，希望在不同文化背景的思想激盪下，碰撞出更燦爛的火花，
並認識更多來自各地熱愛模聯的朋友。
