Nathan Eovaldi is being shut down for 2 weeks with elbow inflammation. Still
4 weeks until playoffs, hope is he is back before that.
UPDATE, 7:41 p.m.: The Yankees have confirmed the injury. Here’s the email
announcement:
Earlier today, RHP Nathan Eovaldi was evaluated by Yankees Head Team
Physician Dr. Christopher Ahmad and underwent an MRI at NewYork-Presbyterian
Hospital, revealing right elbow inflammation. Eovaldi will be shut down for
two weeks.
