(1) @Yankees: Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees made the following
roster moves:
‧Reinstated RHP Jonathan Loáisiga (#43) from the 15-day IL
‧Placed RHP Luis Severino on the 15-day IL with a low grade right lat strain
‧Selected RHP Ryan Weber (#85) to the 26-man roster from Triple-A SWB
(2) @Yankees: The New York Yankees announced that they have acquired
INF/OF Tyler Wade on Wednesday from the Los Angeles Angels in exchange for
a player to be named later or cash considerations.
(3) @Yankees: Following tonight’s game, the Yankees optioned LHP JP Sears
to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
(4) @JeffPassan: The New York Yankees are acquiring utilityman Tyler Wade
in a trade with the Los Angeles Angels, a source familiar with the deal
tells ESPN.
The Angels DFA'd Wade earlier this month. And now he heads back to the team
that drafted him and where he spent his first five seasons.
(5) @JonHeyman: Yankees are unlikely to continue pursuit of Andrew Benintendi
since he is unvaccinated. NYY has 6 games left in Toronto and could meet Jays
in playoffs. Yanks are the one team to send their complete roster to play in
Toronto.
(6) @BryanHoch: A lat strain kept Luis Severino out for most of
the 2019 season. Now he's back on the IL with the same injury. Yankees say
that this one is "low grade."
(7) @BryanHoch: Boone said he plans to use Jonathan Loaisiga in high leverage
situations immediately. “Lo is a stud. That’s my expectation of what he’s
going to be.”
(8) @BryanHoch: GM Brian Cashman on Tyler Wade:
“We know Tyler Wade, we know what he brings to the table. He can play all
the outfield positions, he can play all the infield positions. He’s a bolt
of lightning off the basepaths, he can steal bases for you.”
(9) @BryanHoch: Luis Severino exited tonight's game with right shoulder
tightness. He was examined by team physician Dr. Chris Ahmad. He is scheduled
to undergo an MRI tomorrow.
(10) @MaxTGoodman: Other bullpen updates from Aaron Boone:
- Domingo Germán will make another rehab start tomorrow (with SWB)
- Ron Marinaccio threw another bullpen today. Should be a "quicker return"
if everything goes well
(11) @ktsharp: Yankees have 11 walkoff wins. That's the most in MLB.
(12) @ktsharp: Yankees are 13-11 (.542) when allowing 5+ runs this season,
the best in MLB.
The 2nd-best record is 12-26 (.316) by the Rangers.

the most among all AL players.

Also happened in 2016 (Tanaka, Eovaldi) and 1962 (Ralph Terry, Bill Stafford).
