‧ Placed OF Aaron Judge on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to 4/28)
with a right hip strain.
‧ Recalled INF/OF Franchy Cordero (#33) from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
(2) @BryanHoch: Jonathan Loaisiga will have surgery tomorrow to remove a bone
spur. 3-6 weeks of no throwing, Aaron Boone said.
2.1. @BryanHoch: Boone said estimated return would be August/September.
(3) @BryanHoch: Harrison Bader could be activated for the Rays series, Aaron
Boone said.
(4) @GaryHPhillips: Luis Severino could be back in 2-3 weeks, per Aaron Boone.
His first rehab start will be Wednesday in Tampa.
(5) @GaryHPhillips: Scott Effross and Luis Gil have begun throwing programs,
per Aaron Boone. Frankie Montas is getting close to one.
(6) @GaryHPhillips: Lou Trivino went to Los Angeles for a second opinion,
courtesy of Dr. Neal ElAttrache, per Aaron Boone.
(7) @GJoyce9: Jake Bauers’ MRI came back clean, per Boone. He’ll avoid the IL
and is in line to return to the mix once the swelling in his knee dissipates.
