roster moves:
‧ Transferred RHP Jonathan Loáisiga to the 60-day injured list.
‧ Signed RHP Ryan Weber (#62) to a Major League contract and selected him to
the active roster.
(2) @Yankees: Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees returned C Ben Rortvedt
from his rehab assignment, reinstated him from the 10-day injured list and
optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
(3) @Yankees: Following today’s game, the Yankees optioned RHP Deivi García
to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
(4) @BrendanKutyNJ: Luis Severino will make his next rehab start Tuesday, Boone
says. Didn’t rule out bringing him off IL after that, but didn’t commit to
it either.
(5) @GaryHPhillips: Tommy Kahnle threw a live today that went well, per Aaron
Boone. He could throw another before starting his rehab assignment.
(6) @MaxTGoodman: Including the postseason, Harrison Bader has eight home runs
in his last 17 games.
Bader has 11 RBI in his last six games, the most RBI he's ever had in a
six-game span in his career.
(7) @MaxTGoodman: Deivi García is the youngest Yankees pitcher to record
a save since Phil Hughes (23 y/o) in September of 2009 at Toronto.
