still in service.

The failure count continued to rise and in the Spring of 2014 we had decided
that if a Storage Pod with Seagate 3TB drives showed any type of drive
failure we would 1) immediately migrate all the data and then 2) remove and
test all the drives in the Storage Pod.

As a reminder, about 75% of the “Removed” drives failed one of the bench
tests once they were removed from a Storage Pod.

雖然文章的結論是seagate現在很正常，買什麼品牌故障率都差不多
backblaze也說他們跟seagate的關係不錯，最近才買了一大批4T

我建議所有泰國水災前後(2011~2013)買ST3000DM001的人
現在馬上買一顆新的toshiba(反正3.5'是Hitachi中國廠)或是WD綠標
再怎麼樣都比seagate好啦！
