PlayStation Vita will get less first-party titles out of Sony as its key
appeal has shifted since launch, according to Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei
Yoshida.
根據Worldwide Studios老闆Shuhei Yoshida,隨著PSV的定位漸漸的與當初剛發售時設定
的定位走向不同的方向,PSV將會有更少Sony自製的遊戲(first-party games)。

Speaking with Polygon, Yoshida stressed that initially, the PS Vita was
marketed to capitalise on its high-end portable visuals, but now that this is
no longer attractive to consumers, a new approach is required.
在與Polygon網站的對話中,Yoshida強調當初PSVita設定上的賣點是它高質感的掌機畫質
,但是現在這項賣點對消費者已經不再有吸引力了,一個新的定位是必需的。
“When we launched the Vita with Uncharted, it was amazing; PS3-like quality
in your palm, but as time moved on, you are seeing PS4 quality and people’s
expectations for the graphic fidelity has gone up,” he explained.
"當我們開始發售Vita以及它的遊戲Uncharted時,那是一個驚奇的體驗;可比擬PS3的
質感就在你的手掌之中。但是經過一段時間,你看到了PS4的質感,然後人們對畫質精度
的要求就變的更加的大了" 他解釋
He praised the “indie boom” for bringing a wealth of new content to PS
Vita, and said that in gameplay and mechanical terms, those titles are ideal
for playing for 10-15 minutes while on the go.
他讚揚了"獨立創作者風潮"為PSVita帶來的各種豐富的內容,並且說到以遊戲性以及
遊戲機制來講,那些作品是在移動時有10-15分鐘遊玩時間的理想。
“Instead of watching big stories or cinematics, you can spend hours on Vita,
” he went on. “So, I think that’s actually the biggest star to help
provide great content to Vita going forward. And we continue to make games
cross-platform games, especially on digital side.”
"比起觀賞龐大的故事或是劇情動畫,你可以在Vita上面遊玩好幾個小時,"他繼續說到
"所以我想那是給予Vita極佳的內容並使其繼續發光發熱的最大功臣。然後我們則會繼續
製造跨平台的遊戲,特別是在數位商店的部分。"
When asked if this means there will be less first-party titles on PS Vita,
Yoshida replied, “I would say, yes, that’s correct.”
當被問到這是否代表PSVita將會有更少的Sony自製遊戲(1st-party titles)時,Yoshida
回應,"我會說,對,那是正確的。"
