If you are going to study in Purdue University in coming spring semester and
not setup your housing yet, I can offer you a good opportunity for living.
Actually, I applied for a married-house in Purdue Village (kind of dormitory
for married couple) for a Japanese scholar this semester. However, he is going
to leave in Dec., so I have to find someone replace him and continue to live
in that one-bedroom with a bathroom and kitchen utill July 2005 (because the
lease is for one year).
If you plan to study in Purdue in coming spring semester, I believe this is a
good opportunity for you to save your time on looking for place to live. I
almost have everything includeing bed, studying table, air condition, TV and
so on., and I love to provide them to you for free (you can use it when you
live in that house). The rent is $492 including utility (water, electricity,
cable, and internet). You can also find a roommate to share it, if you want.
I don't mind on that.
You can check Purdue Village on
http://www.housing.purdue.edu/HousingChoices/Purdue_Village.html
You can live there from Jan. to July. If you like to continue to live
after July, you can renew the contract easily. Furthermore, the place is on
campus and have a bus stop just behind. For a newcomer, it is convinent for
first semester living, because you might not have a car when you come.
I don't live in that house. I apply that one-bedroom for helping that Japanese
scholar. Now, I am also thinking to help any student from Taiwan. If you are
interested in this offer. Please contact me by email. Actually, I can easily
find people to sublease it, but I prefer to provide my stuff to people come
from Taiwan. You help me and I help you, too! *_<
