Trump sacks national security adviser John Bolton

"I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at
the White House," he wrote.
"I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions," Mr Trump wrote, adding
that a new national security adviser would be appointed next week.
The firing comes amid reports of divisions in the Trump cabinet over a
cancelled peace plan to invite the Taliban to the US.
White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham told reporters: "[The
president] didn't like a lot of his policies, they disagree."
In response, Mr Bolton tweeted: "I offered to resign last night and President
Trump said, 'Let's talk about it tomorrow.'"

美國總統川普10日推文宣布，他因為不同意國安顧問波頓（John Bolton）的許多建議，
已要求波頓離職。
川普推文指出，他前一晚通知波頓，白宮不再需要波頓，他與政府其他人都強烈反對波頓
的許多建議，因此他已要求波頓離職。
川普表示，他感謝波頓的服務，將在下周宣布新的國安顧問。
但波頓隨後推文指出，他前一晚向川普提出辭職，川普回他「明天再談」。
曾任美國駐聯合國大使的波頓被視為鷹派人物，對中國大陸、北韓問題等都主張強硬路線
，對台灣友善，今年5月會晤台灣國安會秘書長李大維，被視為台美關係提升。
