where you can learn English, make friends and have fun.

(進入樹樂集餐廳裡, 現場會有指示在4樓還是5樓聚會)
6. 時間：Almost every Saturday 14:30~17:30
7. 方式：We speak English during meeting time.
(Of course, out of the meeting at dinner time, we speak Chinese)
A meeting could be any form that designed by the host: group
discussion, writing, watching movies, games, debate, personal
presentation,etc.
It's fun because we can always learn from others' expertise and
experiences during all kinds of meeting.

Subject: “The Secret of Body Language”
Participants: Vicky, Serina, Annie, Ellen, JT, Winnie, Vanessa, Brandon,
Shin, Daniel, Judith, Bond, Johnson, Kevin Huang, Monika, Barkley, Angel
Body Language:
Our hostess, Vicky and edu. Manager, Serina arrived earlier and gave every
participant a warm welcome. After watching Vicky’s “body language and eye
contact” videos in a circle, we shared our impression at the moment of
arrival. Everyone not only expressed their feelings but also got feedback
from other participants. This activity thrivingly demonstrated how body
language built our images.
Our Baseline:
Our “baseline” means our “regular behaviors and reaction”. How precisely
we can detect people is totally determined by how much we know other people’
s baseline. Despite all the knowledge of body language, we also should notice
the knowledge about nervous or lying determining factors may not be
necessarly reliable because he or she is naturally born nervously. Only the
difference from the baseline can tell us the counterpart may try to lie or
hide something!!!
“Blind trust” Experiment
Everyone hugged each other with all their hearts and shared the feelings. It
told us the hug could spread warmth and trust to the counterpart, even to
thestrangers!!!
“Lie to me”
Each group produced one true story (100% true) and a fake story (over 70%
fake). One member in the group came to Vicky and drew lots to decide whether
to tell a true or fake story. Once the stories were finished, people had to
decide whether they were true or fake and then shared the clues with which
they detected.
Reflections:
“3C” comforts our lives but blocks the real contacts between people. Try to
add more interpersonal contacts with people, not with screens. Thank Vicky
to give us the fulfilling, innovative and interesting afternoon!!!
