【學校通知】：大學 computer lab的 new printing policy：每個學生每次到 computer lab最多只能 free打 10 pages。after printing more than 10 pages，more than 10 pages 的部分per page 要 charge 5 Cents。好處 1、督促學生節約用紙。好處 2、學校可 with the money collected 再 buy更多新 printers供學生使用。
【學生態度】：女生贊成此計畫 the idea is OK with me。理由 1、以前 free 打的時候，she always see a lot of students print tons of material, sometimes only a title or an author is printed on a piece of paper, and the rest of the paper is left blank。It's a huge waste of material。如收費，在 while printing時，學生就會consider before printing，節約用紙 use paper more efficiently and selectively，students jot down the title or the author and print only necessary information rather than printing whole
page。理由2、there are only a few printers, students have to wait to print. The money will be used to buy new printers 給同學們用，就可效減少在 busy hours 時的 waiting time，不會發生以前人多時印表機不夠用的情況。

【名詞解釋】：place marketing（地區行銷）是：an area identify the features of a place 來做廣告，可以和其他的地方區別開來，吸引遊客 attract potential visitors。提高經濟。
【教授舉例】：教授舉了一個例子。a town near oceanwants to improve its economy，這個 town 不僅有 a very beautiful beach，還有其他地方沒有東西——bicycle paths connected to the beach 可以 ride bicycle往來於 downtown 和 beach 之間，不像其他地方只能 drive。So the government decided to emphasis this major feature to attract people who are fond of physical activities。They advertised this feature on TV and magazine 宣傳在這個 town 不僅可以欣賞美麗的 beach，還能參加各種 physical activities，比如 play
volleyball and jogging on the beach，騎單車等。It turned out to be successful，吸引了很多active 的 young people came to the town 玩。town 裡的新 business，比如 hotel、restaurant、旅遊品店、禮品店等都蓬勃發展起來了。最後，這個 town 的經濟也發展了 promote the economy。

【學生困難】：一個女的暑假要去 in another state 打工 summer job，幫她導師做事。她很喜歡現在的公寓，她想 fall 打完工回來接著住現在的公寓 apartment。不知道自己的宿舍怎麼處理。
【解決方案】：男生給她兩個建議：建議 1、在暑假期間，把apartment 轉租 sublet the apartment to 一個朋友，這樣做既可讓別人掏房租，這樣還有錢賺，又可搬回去。she worries the visitor may mess up her room。建議 2、乾脆 pays both rents。等她假期回來後繼續居住。但女生說她打算用暑假打工 get money to purchase a new computer。如果兩邊都付了房租，沒錢買電腦了，下個 semester 有錢買電腦了。
Task 6
1.【講課要點】：Animal Communication：When animals are in dangers，they alarm other individuals with two types of alarming signals： 第一種、alarm call：give a call。例如：A robin cries to alarm other robins that a predator is coming。Other robins will fly off。 第二種、chemical alarm signals。例如：When a minnow’s skin is cut, its skin can release some chemical substance to let other minnows know that the danger is nearby，then others minnows in the same pond would hide
themselves。題：講動物如何發信號通知同伴。
整合寫作：
大腦 size 在 200000 年年前，逐漸變小的原因
Reading:
1.天氣變化，變暖有利身體小，所以大腦也小了
2.農業發展：飲食不再以肉為主，而以穀物為主。缺少蛋白質和維生素的攝取，
所以大腦變小
3.肌肉變小：現在人肌肉少了，所以控制肌肉的大腦也變小了
Listening
1. 溫度有波動，大腦卻一直減小
2. 全球人類大腦都在縮小，有些地方（非洲）還沒有出現農業，那裡的人腦容量也變小了
3. 人類肌肉變小只是很小的一部分，但是大腦卻減少了 10%
