Task1(極小範圍)
Describe an academic subject that you enjoy learning. Explain why it is
important to you. Include reasons and examples to support your response.
Task2(極小範圍)
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Children should be
required to help with household tasks as long as they grow old enough to do
so. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer
Task3(極小範圍)
【個人倡議】：一個學生寫倡議書建議學校的劇院應 pay 在 theater 打工的
volunteer assistants and give them specific trainings。好處 1、可讓
assistants 不用再做其它工作，能更專注於劇院工作。好處 2、可提高 assistants 的
技能和工作效率。
【學生態度】：男生 totally 贊成此計劃。理由 1、如果做 assistants 能 get paid，
students needn’t to do other real jobs，so they will not be late or absent
anymore and will not 影響 theater的工作。理由 2、如果做 assistants get
trained step by step，their skills will be improved and they can operate
complex new equipment efficiently and the play will be better。
Task4(極小範圍)
【名詞解釋】：subject-expectancy effect（受試者期待效應）。大意是：人的想法容
易被事先知道的內容左右。信則靈。
【教授舉例】：教授舉了一個例子。一個公司的一組 office workers 感覺sluggish。
researchers 讓他們 every day 服用維他命。並告知他們這種 Vitamins have a
special element that can improve the energy 和工作效率。但實際上這種 Vitamin
是一個 fake vitamin。但結果顯示，The office workers felt more energetic and
worked faster。
Task5(極小範圍)
【學生困難】：女生的父母 weekend 晚上要來學校 visit 她。她的問題是，她的
apartment 很亂髒，而且在晚上之前還要參加一個chemistry meeting，沒時間 clean
the house。
【解決方案】：女生自己說出兩方案：方案 1、不去開會 meeting 用一下午時間打掃公
寓。優點是房間會很干淨。方案 2、在 meeting 結束後 rush home to clean the house
。
Task6(極小範圍)
【講課要點】：教授講了 birds are able to migrate for great distances because
of two reasons：
原因一、store energy in form of fat before migration。舉例：Hummingbird （蜂鳥
）several months before immigration, they will eat and eat and eat to
increase body fat就有力氣長途飛行了。原因二、reduce the need for energy。舉例
：hawk，它們飛到很高的高度，barely flapping their wings，大多數時候在天空，
depend on thermal coming up from earth 滑翔 to save energy。
整合寫作:(極小範圍)
成立國際基金幫助發展中國家去保護其森林資源
Reading:支持該計畫
1. 避免農業破壞.
2. 還可以發展森林中的村莊村民經濟.
3. 保護森林裡的生物多樣性.
聽力:
1. 人口增長，需要食物增長，農民只能用intense techniques來提高產量，跟deforest
比較這樣會對環境產生更負面影響.
2. 政府或土地所有人會把錢投在其他專案上，居民得不到那些利益.
3. 人們就算只種一種植被也有獎賞，這樣會讓這個趨於商業化只種植些商業性植物，
單一的植被不會支持生物多樣性。
