Themed cafes have been popping up all over Taipei lately, giving us tons of op
portunities to take gram-worthy pics and having unique brunch experiences, whi
le enjoying our “essential” lattes.

Swell Co. Cafe is a surf lover’s dream, with its surf themed interior and
California beach vibe, making you feel all summery and ready to go hop on tho
se waves. It is located in Daan District, in a quiet residential area, and sta
nds out with its large wave-covered wall on the outside, making it impossible
to miss.

The caf? is decorated wit surfboards and cactuses, and with beach morals
on the walls adding to their cool and summery beach vibe. We have visited this
cafe twice and always enjoy the quiet and relaxing atmosphere, the perfect spo
t for a casual lunch with friends or sitting back with a cuppa coffee and a bo
ok.

Their menu consists of a range of specialty coffees, from African to Cost
a Rican, as well as light meals such as desserts and sandwiches. We opted for
the cake of the day, and the Banana Caramel Toast, which also came with an ice
-cream cone on the side (quite a lovely surprise!) We also had the cheese cake
to share, it was delicious. Below you can scroll through their menu and also

d bustle where you can sit back and relax with a cuppa’ joe, this is the perf
ect spot for you. It’s quite, relaxing and they make some o the best lattes i
n town! It’s quite affordable too, and hey you can even take advantage of tha
t enormous wave outside (aka photo prop!) and score a brand new pic for your i
nstagram feed. Go and have a swell day!
