"I haven't thought about myself as that, but I think I've improved a lot
on this surface. I struggled on it when I was younger, but I've really
trained myself to become better on it. I realized I had no choice but to
become stronger and recover better because those things just don't come
automatically."

had a few days to assess everything, commit myself and keep going forward
and working hard, and I felt like I was playing better in every match in
Miami. I was happy with that result, and though I knew there was still a
long season ahead, I was ready for it."
