Slovakia vs England: Martin Skrtel wary of Wayne Rooney threat as defender
piles pressure on Roy Hodgson's side

Slovakia defender Martin Skrtel has identified Wayne Rooney as England's
danger man, but has warned his teammates to be wary of Roy Hodgson's entire
team when the two nations face each other on Monday evening.
Slovakia play England in their final Euro 2016 group game at the Stade
Geoffroy Guichard in Saint-Etienne, with Hodgson's side knowing a win will
see them top Group B while a draw would also see the Three Lions book their
place in the last 16.
Slovakia, meanwhile, could also qualify for the knockout stages of Euro 2016
after they beat Russia 2-1 on Wednesday and Skrtel has urged his teammates to
ensure they contain Rooney tomorrow - no matter where the Manchester United
captain starts.
"He [Rooney] has been playing in midfield for United as well," Skrtel, who
plays for Liverpool, said.
"He is a top player and he can play in every single position. We will see
where he starts against us and we have to deal with him.
"We have to face him and not just be better than Rooney but better than the
whole England team and then we can get success."
He added: "This is a dream scenario for us.
"After losing our first game against Wales, we had to beat Russia – and we
did everything possible to take the three points.
"Now we want to qualify for the next stage and in the final game, all of the
pressure will be on England because they are the big favourites.
"Can they cope with the pressure? Everything will be decided on the pitch,
but I do know that if we show the same heart, character and desire then we
can go through.
"We have to be ready for them — don’t forget that England are still one of
the best teams in the world.
"It’s going to be tough for us, but I believe we are ready and will get a
result."

我們要做的是，我們要比魯尼更優秀，比整支英格蘭隊更優秀，只有這樣我們才有可能取
得成功。
在首場比賽輸給威爾士之後，我們必須要拿下俄羅斯，為了拿到三分我們拼盡了全力。
我們先要進入16強，現在等待我們的是與英格蘭的最後一戰了。所有的壓力都在英格蘭身
上，因為他們是被看好的那一方。
他們能否處理這樣的壓力？場上的表現決定一切，我們要做的就是做好充足的準備，大家
不要忘了英格蘭仍舊是世界上最好的球隊之一。
