Have you ever had very high expectations for something only to be utterly
disappointed when you finally achieved what you wanted? Everyone has
experienced that at some point or another. That's why having no expectations
at all is better than expecting a very defined idea of the possible outcome.
You may have a vivid idea now of how a situation is going to turn out, and if
it doesn't pan out that way, you will experience a major disappointment. So
instead, be open to what lies ahead, and you won't restrict yourself to
limited possibilities.
