兩則有點累格的消息，
不過還是分享給大家囉:)
1. 聖誕專輯
每年都很期待美國拉斯維加斯樂團 The Killers的聖誕歌，
不過今年他們沒有原創歌曲了，取而代之的是翻唱＜I'll Be Home For Christmas＞。
然而重點並不是在歌曲的詮釋上，
占了大半的口白是主唱 Brandon Flowers回憶童年，
從內華拿州 Henderson搬到猶他州 Payton的生活、心境等等…
(來聽聽 Brandon西部腔美語，據說他早年唱歌刻意用假英國腔，網路上還有一些討論呢！
不過殺手所有專輯都在英國奪冠，也真的是算他們的福地)
特別提到的是一位令他印象深刻的小學老師，
身為韓戰老兵的這位老師當年在同學面前高歌，
如今 Brandon再度邀請他在今年的聖誕翻唱中演唱。
素人略微走音的歌聲卻有種不完美中的感動，
Brandon退居合音配角︰ 'If he doesn't mind, I might join in, too.'

The Killers也集結了過往10年的慈善聖誕歌曲加上上面這首新曲，
發行了名為《Don't Waste Your Wishes》的專輯︰

2. 《Sam's Town》十周年發行棄曲 demo
今年殺手的第二張專輯《Sam's Town》滿十周年，
為了慶祝重發限量豪華版專輯(其實只多兩首)。
其中有首之前從未發行過的專輯棄曲 Peace of Mind，
單曲封面主角就是專輯山姆小鎮封面同位女郎。
不是什麼大歌，不過我很喜歡它的旋律與歌詞。
曲中3分鐘左右開始的合成音效後來被用在 My List一曲當中，
鋼琴搖滾的調調跟 My List也有有幾分相似。

老實說《Sam's Town》是四張專輯裡面我比較不喜歡的，
但是最近重聽又突然覺得真不錯，人的口味真的會變XD
話說最近一張作品已經是2012年了，雖然主唱2015年的個專也是非常好聽，
還是希望能有樂團新專輯的消息啦～
